How to Create a Game Schedule in SportsEngine

In SportsEngine HQ's current Season Management experience, you can create games manually from the season Schedule or use the Scheduling Assistant to generate a larger schedule from Teams, Divisions, Venues, time slots, and scheduling rules.

If your schedule is already confirmed in TeamReady, you can skip recreating every game and use the SportsEngine import guide instead.

What do I need before creating a SportsEngine schedule?

Set up the Season, Divisions, Teams, and any Venues you plan to use. SportsEngine requires Teams to belong to Divisions.

How do I create games manually in SportsEngine?

  1. Open SportsEngine HQ.
  2. Go to Competition → Season Management.
  3. Open the correct season and choose Schedule.
  4. Open the three-dot menu and choose Add Game.
  5. Enter the participating Team(s), date/time, and other game details.
  6. Optionally select Notify teams of changes.
  7. Choose Add Game.

SportsEngine requires at least one Team to add a game.

How do I create a larger schedule with Scheduling Assistant?

  1. Open the season's Schedule.
  2. Open the three-dot menu → Scheduling assistant.
  3. Add the Venues that can host games.
  4. Add available time slots.
  5. Configure scheduling rules.
  6. Configure the games to be scheduled.
  7. Use SportsEngine's Auto Schedule tools to generate the schedule.
  8. Review the generated games before using or publishing them.

Already have your schedule in TeamReady?

Use Manager → Game Schedule → Export confirmed games, choose SportsEngine, and then follow How to Import a Game Schedule into SportsEngine.

Can TeamReady create the SportsEngine schedule automatically?

No. TeamReady currently provides a CSV handoff rather than a direct SportsEngine API sync.
