Weekly Coach Autopilot Emails

What this does

Weekly Coach Autopilot prepares two Coach-only emails for an eligible Team in the Team's timezone. It does not automatically email Players, Parents or League Managers.

Autopilot is on by default for eligible new and existing Coach Teams unless the Coach turned it off or email suppression prevents delivery.

Manage Weekly Coach Autopilot

  1. Open the Team's Settings.
  2. Find Weekly Coach Autopilot.
  3. Check or uncheck Email me the two weekly messages for this Team.
  4. Choose Save Weekly Autopilot.

When the Monday email arrives

Review next week's game dates. If a request was prepared, use its authenticated edit link when the days or times need adjusting, then copy and share the Player request yourself. Autopilot does not send the request to Players or Parents for you.

If the Team has no recurring defaults, the Monday email guides you to set default game days and times instead of creating an empty request.

When the Thursday email arrives

  1. Open Review or edit your Team's available times.
  2. Review current game dates, response counts, assumed availability and Team times.
  3. Adjust times if needed, then deliberately copy/share the League message yourself.
  4. Recheck current times before sharing because later Player changes can make copied text outdated.

What happens next

Turning Autopilot off stops future Autopilot emails for that Team. Saved requests, responses and availability remain. Normal opt-outs and email suppression still apply.

Having trouble?

If Monday has no request, check recurring default game days/times and whether that week already has a request or Coach-only period. If email is missing, check that Autopilot is enabled and the Team/Coach email is eligible for delivery.
