How to Import a Game Schedule into LeagueApps
LeagueApps supports schedule file imports. TeamReady's LeagueApps preset uses the documented classic LeagueApps game-schedule columns, so you can export confirmed games, upload the CSV, map existing Teams and locations, review it, and accept the schedule.
LeagueApps also has a newer Club Schedule Importer that accepts CSV and other file types and lets you map headers and correct values during import.
How do I export the schedule from TeamReady?
- Open Manager → Game Schedule.
- Choose Export confirmed games.
- Select the date range.
- Choose All Divisions or one Division.
- Choose LeagueApps.
- Download the CSV.
What columns does the TeamReady LeagueApps export use?
The file contains SUB_PROGRAM, HOME_TEAM, AWAY_TEAM, DATE, START_TIME, END_TIME, LOCATION, SUB_LOCATION, TYPE, NOTES. TeamReady uses MM/DD/YYYY dates, military HH:mm times, sets TYPE to REGULAR_SEASON, and includes the TeamReady game ID in Notes.
What setup is required first?
The Teams used in the schedule must already exist in the LeagueApps program. Locations and Sub-locations should also be created in advance when you intend to assign them.
How do I import games with the classic LeagueApps schedule importer?
- Open the desired program.
- Go to the Schedule / Calendar tab.
- Choose Import Schedule.
- Choose the TeamReady LeagueApps CSV.
- Select Upload & Validate.
- Select the correct Program.
- Map the imported Teams and locations to existing LeagueApps records.
- Choose Next.
- Review the schedule.
- Choose Accept and publish the games when ready.
What if I use LeagueApps' new Club Schedule Importer?
Upload the TeamReady LeagueApps CSV into the Club Schedule Importer. LeagueApps can suggest column mappings, and you can change mappings or fix row values before choosing Finish. Use the import experience your LeagueApps program actually shows.
Why did my LeagueApps schedule import fail?
- A Team does not yet exist in the program.
- A Location or Sub-location cannot be matched.
- Dates are not in
MM/DD/YYYY. - Times are not in military
HH:mmformat. - A non-grouped program has unwanted SUB_PROGRAM values.
- The classic import file exceeds LeagueApps' documented size limit.
- Mapping errors remain unresolved.
Can TeamReady sync directly with LeagueApps?
No. TeamReady currently provides a file-based CSV handoff, not a direct LeagueApps API sync.
