How to Import a Game Schedule into TeamSnap

Yes, TeamSnap supports CSV schedule imports. For a League Manager moving multiple confirmed games, use the organization-level Schedule import, not the single-Team schedule template.

Before importing, TeamSnap says your Divisions and Teams should already exist, external opponents should be added when needed, and organization-level locations should be set up. Team, opponent, and location names in the file should match TeamSnap.

How do I export the schedule from TeamReady?

  1. Open Manager → Game Schedule.
  2. Choose Export confirmed games.
  3. Select the date range.
  4. Choose All Divisions or one Division.
  5. Choose TeamSnap.
  6. Download the CSV.

What columns are in the TeamReady TeamSnap export?

The file contains Date, Start Time, End Time, Home Team, Away Team, Division, and Location. Dates use MM/DD/YYYY and times use 12-hour AM/PM format.

How do I upload a CSV schedule to TeamSnap?

  1. Open your organization or program.
  2. Go to Schedule.
  3. Open Schedule Imports.
  4. Choose Upload Schedule from File.
  5. Choose the TeamReady TeamSnap CSV.
  6. Choose whether events should be league-controlled or team-controlled when TeamSnap presents that option.
  7. Continue through validation/import.
  8. Create the events.
  9. Review the Schedule Imports list for successful event creation.

If your TeamSnap import screen presents column mapping, map the TeamReady Date, Start Time, End Time, Home Team, Away Team, Division, and Location columns to the equivalent TeamSnap fields.

What setup is required first?

TeamSnap notes that organization-level and team-level schedule templates are different and should not be mixed.

Why did my TeamSnap schedule import fail?

Can TeamReady sync directly with TeamSnap?

No. TeamReady currently provides a CSV file handoff, not a direct TeamSnap API sync.
