Create a Tournament Schedule in TeamReady

What this does

Tournament Scheduler creates a lightweight, one-Division schedule from the Teams, playable dates/times, and courts you provide.

At launch, Tournament Scheduler is available as a $0 product. V1 creates one matchup round at a time; it is not a bracket builder or full round-robin / multi-Division optimizer.

1. Open Tournament Scheduler

Sign in with League Manager / Tournament Director access and choose Tournament Scheduler.

2. Create a Tournament

  1. Enter the Tournament name.
  2. Confirm the Timezone.
  3. Choose an existing Organization or New organization.
  4. Choose Create Tournament.

TeamReady creates an initial Division 1. Use Add Division when needed; schedule one Division at a time.

3. Add Teams

Add new Team names, one per line, or use Teams already connected to the organization when available. Name-only Tournament Teams do not require Coach accounts, availability requests, or Coach Team activation.

4. Add courts if needed

Use Add Court to create another Tournament court.

5. Configure the schedule

  1. Select between 2 and 64 Teams.
  2. For Seeded scheduling, enter Team seeds when needed.
  3. Choose Random or Seeded.
  4. Set Game duration (minutes) from 15 to 180.
  5. Add one or more Playable windows with Date, From, Until, and Court.
  6. Use Add playable window for more dates, times, or courts.
  7. Choose Generate schedule.

What happens with an odd number of Teams?

One Team receives a displayed bye. In Seeded mode, the lowest-ranked Team receives it; in Random mode, Team order is randomized first.

6. Review the draft

Under Review your draft, you can change Home Team, Away Team, Start time, Court, and the Team with a bye when applicable. Choose Save adjustments.

7. Finalize the schedule

Choose Finalize saved draft. TeamReady rechecks Team and court conflicts and saves the Games.

Important: finalized Tournament Games cannot be regenerated or edited through Tournament Scheduler V1.

8. Export the schedule

Choose Download / share CSV. A bye is displayed in TeamReady but is not exported as a Game row.

Why didn't TeamReady generate the full schedule?

Add a broader playable window, another date, another court, or shorten Game duration when appropriate. TeamReady also rejects slots where a selected Team or court is already booked.
